About
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Western University. My research focuses on land surface modelling, regional climate modelling, and human–Earth system interactions.
A major focus of my research is understanding how human activities, particularly agricultural irrigation and groundwater pumping, influence the terrestrial water cycle. I am also interested in interactions between human management activities and climate extremes.
My research combines process-based land surface and regional climate models with observational datasets and computational approaches to investigate hydrological and climate processes.
Research Interests
Land Surface Modelling
Improving the representation of land-surface and hydrological processes in numerical models.
Regional Climate Modelling
Understanding regional climate processes and evaluating climate-model simulations.
Human–Earth System Modelling
Representing human activities and their interactions with terrestrial water and climate systems.
Groundwater & Irrigation
Investigating the impacts of groundwater pumping and agricultural irrigation on the terrestrial hydrological cycle.
